Engines Alive Day Caloundra

When: Saturday, 13 January 2018
Where: Queensland Air Museum, Caloundra

A fantastic event for aviation enthusiasts. An exciting display of aviation horsepower and collection of historic operational aircraft engines is happening again at the Queensland Air Museum Engines Alive on 13 January.

The museum’s operational engine and aircraft collection consists of engines ranging from 40 hp uo to 1500 hp and dating back to 1930. The collection includes a fully operational CAC Wirraway aircraft and is ever-growing in number and types as more restorations are completed and added to the display.

Visitors for the day are encouraged to inspect the engines between runs and talk to the volunteers who did the restorations.

Why not make it a family day out? There will be loads to see and do including browsing the aircraft displays, WW2 jeep rides, a BBQ sausage sizzle and drinks are available to purchase.

Admission:
